Step out of your usual routine for more food, more talks, and more conversation—with time for fun and rest along the way.

The weekend away is a vital part of the Alpha experience and a chance to go deeper in friendship with your group.

Who is Alpha for?

Alpha is for everyone who is willing to talk about life, faith, meaning, and Christianity. You don’t need to have your beliefs sorted out to join.

How much does it cost?

The Alpha course is free. The weekend away is the only expense, at approximately $170 per person. Scholarships are available.

What happens each week?

We begin with food, watch a short talk about the Christian faith, and then make time for discussion in a friendly small group.

Is childcare available?

Yes. Childcare is available for children from birth through fifth grade.

When and where do we meet?

Wednesdays, September 23–October 7, 2026, from 6:30–8:30 PM at Rise City Church, 1220 NE Kelly Ave, Gresham, OR 97030.
